TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.

Everything in one place, with the full fee website table, withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
